Welcome to High Quality Store Tyres Collection

That the wheel has changed the world, is beyond question. But the tire has also caused a great leap in development. He is indispensable today. Whether bike, car or other device, tires are everywhere. It is the link between the vehicle and the ground on which it is driven. It can significantly influence the driving behavior and today it seems as if there is the right tire for every situation and every weather. It almost resembles a science to deal with the subject properly.

How do I mount the tires correctly?

First, make sure that the tires are always the same type. Different types or even different tread depths or wear can strongly negatively influence the driving behavior. If you can not get the same type of tire, you should always attach the better tires to the back, regardless of whether your car has front or rear wheel drive. This ensures greater driving stability. In any case, make sure that at least the same type is mounted on the same axis. An exception here is the all-wheel drive. Follow the instructions for use here.

When does the tire have to be changed?

Each tire wears out eventually and must be changed. But when exactly is this the case? And how do I recognize that? Here are some good reasons to change the tires:

1. The tread depth is no longer given:

Here the law sets a clear line in Germany. If the tread depth of the tire is less than 1.6 millimeters, it must be changed. Since most models are already in a very bad condition, it is worthwhile to switch from three millimeters for summer tires and four millimeters for winter tires.

2. In case of damage:

Any kind of visible damage or deformation of the tire, as well as unusual pressure loss, should visit a workshop. Only there can you be sure to tell if the tire is still to repair or if it needs to be replaced.

3. The age limit has been reached:

Every tire loses quality over the years. This also applies to a relatively rare use. A rule of thumb here is that every tire should be changed after eight years, regardless of frequent or rare use. Also pay attention to external signs of aging such as cracks.

4. At pressure loss. Should your tire show no external damage but always lose pressure, you should also visit a workshop. There, the tire can be inspected for hidden damage and replaced if necessary.

How do I store tires correctly?

When changing between summer and winter tires, there is always the question of correct storage. In general, it is important to store the tires cool, dark and dry to protect them from the various weather conditions. Do not allow them to come in contact with oils, solvents or greases and do not place the tire near a window. For tires with a rim, increase the prescribed air pressure by 0.5 bar again and store it lying on top of each other. Tires without rims are best stored standing on clean soil. Turn the wheel here every few months.
